TOURNAMENT RULES
General Conditions
- Players entering grade events may be asked to undergo a grading test and be placed in events at the decision of the tournament committee.
- Players entering grade events should insert their preferred grading with any performances, results or rankings. A short explanation can be offered, e.g. injury, illness, lay-off.
- It is our policy that we will engage an umpires and ball-service for all matches. This will depend on availability and circumstances but this policy will be a high priority in all our events.
- Low compression balls will be used in 6 and 8 & under events if deemed an advantage to the success of the events.
- The tournament committee reserves the right to refuse entries without explanation, reduce the length of matches in the event of inclement weather, change the format (knockout or round robin depending on number of entries received) or cancel an event or reduce cash prize-money where insufficient entries are received.
- The tournament committee shall also have the right to default any competitor who fails to make themselves available to play, when called upon. Under those circumstances the offending competitor would not be entitled to a refund.
- Correct tennis attire is compulsory as seen fit by the tournament referee. Any competitor who is incorrectly dressed may be disqualified.
- Any player wishing to withdraw is requested to notify the tournament manager immediately, however no refund will be issued.
- Seedings shall be in accordance with Australian ranking followed by results from Tennis Blast tournaments or competitions.
